Built for tunnelling, trenching and work near structures, this excavator drum cutter features twin rotating drums with replaceable picks, high-strength steel shrouding and a waterproof drive to 30 m, with a free extra set of rock picks supplied.
Features
Drive assembly
Bearing housings on both the motor side and the far side carry the drums, with protective covers over each bearing. The drive takes the load of profiling rock without the wear reaching it.
Low noise and vibration
The drums grind rather than hammer, so noise and vibration are far below a rock breaker. That opens up noise-restricted sites, protects the operator and puts less stress through the machine.
Underwater operation
The motor and drive are sealed in water-resistant housings, so the cutter works submerged to 30 m in dam, port and river work without dewatering the area first.

Nothing here is an off-the-shelf pattern that you have to make work. Every unit is manufactured to your machine's tonnage, hitch and pin centres, so it bolts up to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Volvo, CASE, Kubota, Yanmar and Takeuchi alike. Hydraulic Grab
The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Hydraulic Grab & Auger
Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

Drum cutter or rock breaker: which do I need? A breaker fractures material and is faster for bulk removal, but it fractures beyond where you want it to. Drum cutter or rock saw: which do I need? A drum cutter grinds a wide face away in controlled layers and is the tool for profiling, tunnelling and selective removal over an area. Can a drum cutter work underwater? Yes. The drive is sealed for submerged operation to 30 m, so the same attachment profiles rock in dam, port and river work as on dry ground.
