Built for metal recovery, demolition sorting and scrap handling, this hydraulic scrap magnet attachment features hydraulic motor-driven power generation, an integrated surface scraper and manifold distribution blocks, and is tested and certified in Australia by a licensed electrician.

Hydraulic control
The hydraulic motor drives a built-in generator that energises the magnet, so the machine's own circuit supplies consistent power. No external generator, no cable run and fewer points of failure.
Surface scraper
A scraper with replaceable teeth lets the magnet work a floor clean over several passes and helps separate steel from concrete, without a second machine on the job.
Manifold distribution blocks & case drain
The case drain returns excess fluid to tank so pressure never builds in the motor casing, and the manifold block sits protected between the ears. Cooler running, longer motor life.

Hydraulic Grab
The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

What is a hydraulic excavator magnet? A hydraulic excavator magnet is an attachment that generates a magnetic field from the machine's own hydraulic circuit to lift and separate ferrous metal. It is also called a hydraulic electromagnet or scrap magnet. Aussie Buckets electromagnets cover 13.5 to 50 tonne machines across four builds.
Does an excavator magnet need a generator? Not this one. The Aussie Buckets hydraulic electromagnet draws its power from the machine's hydraulic circuit, so there is no separate generator to fuel, service or move between sites. That is the main cost difference between a hydraulic magnet and a conventional generator-driven one.
What can an excavator magnet lift? Ferrous scrap: steel offcuts, reinforcement, plate, turnings, car bodies and mixed yard material. Rated lift runs from 3,000 kg of solid plate on the smallest build to 7,700 kg on the largest, and far less for loose turnings, because surface contact matters as much as mass. Non-ferrous metals are not picked up.
