Built for trench walls, service cuts and work near structures, this excavator rock saw features a direct drive system, hydraulic automatic braking and a sealed bearing hub, with dust suppression, a transport stand and a second blade included.
Features
Hydraulic braking system
The blade stops automatically the moment hydraulic power is removed, rather than spinning down. Safer when the machine is tracked, and easier on the blade and motor.
Adjustable shield cover
An inner shield rotates 360 degrees around the blade to contain spoil and direct debris away at any cutting angle. The outer guard removes when the cut needs it.
Sealed bearing hub
The hub is sealed against dirt, slurry and cutting debris, so the bearings run clean through wet rock and concrete work with no field stripping between cuts.

Hydraulic Grab
The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Hydraulic Grab & Auger
Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

What is an excavator rock saw? An excavator rock saw is an attachment with a hydraulically driven tipped blade that cuts a clean vertical face in rock, concrete or asphalt. It is also called a rock wheel or trench saw. Aussie Buckets rock saws cover 2.5 to 60 tonne machines in single, dual and triple blade builds.
Rock saw or rock breaker: which do I need? A rock saw gives a clean cut line and leaves the ground either side of it intact, which matters for trench walls, service cuts and work near structures. A rock breaker is faster for bulk removal but fractures beyond the line. Choose the saw where the face matters, the breaker where volume does.
Rock saw or drum cutter: which do I need? A rock saw cuts a narrow, clean line to depth and is the tool for trench walls and service cuts. A drum cutter grinds a wide face away in controlled layers and is the tool for profiling, tunnelling and selective removal. A line takes the saw; a surface takes the drum cutter.
What is the difference between diamond and tungsten tips? Tungsten tips suit softer rock, asphalt and general trench cutting, and cost less to replace. Diamond tips cut harder abrasive rock and concrete and last considerably longer in it. The right choice comes from the material rather than the machine, so tell us what you are cutting.
What size excavator does a rock saw need? Seven builds span 2.5 to 60 tonne machines, with rated power from 25 to 90 kW, flow from 60 to 370 L/min and operating pressure listed per build. Flow is the limiting factor on a saw, not machine weight, so send your auxiliary circuit figures with your machine details.
Does an excavator rock saw control dust? Yes. A water sprayer and dust suppression system is built into the saw rather than supplied as an accessory, which is what makes cutting rock and concrete workable on urban and occupied sites. An adjustable shield cover contains the cut and the spoil thrown from it.
