A single central support roller with an integrated greasing circuit carries the drum and turns it smoothly for life, with no grease nipple to draw grit into the bearing.
Interchangeable screen system
Laser-cut conical NM400 screens from 10 to 120 mm swap on site to change the output grade, with sizes below 10 mm available to order. One bucket, several products.
Waterproof hydraulic motor
A low-noise, fully submersible motor makes the bucket waterproof, so it screens saturated material and works in port, dam and wash plant applications without a special build.

Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

What is an excavator screening bucket? An excavator screening bucket is an attachment with a powered rotating drum that screens soil, sand and aggregate into graded product as it turns. It is also called a rotary screening bucket, drum screener or flip screen bucket. Aussie Buckets rotary screening buckets cover 1.5 to 50 tonne machines across seven builds.
What can a screening bucket process? Topsoil, sand, gravel, compost, demolition fines and contaminated fill. It separates by size into a fine grade and an oversize, which is what turns site spoil into usable product. Wet and sticky material screens more slowly than dry, so allow for that when specifying a build.
Screening bucket or sieve bucket: which do I need? A rotary screening bucket has a powered drum and produces a consistent, graded product from bulk material. A sieve bucket is a static grid bucket with no hydraulics, for separating rock and rubble from spoil as you dig. Graded product takes the screening bucket; sorting oversize out of a dig takes the sieve bucket.
What size screening bucket fits my excavator? Seven builds cover 1.5 to 50 tonne machines, from a 500 mm drum at 0.095 m³ to a 1,700 mm drum at 2.3 m³. Hydraulic flow, not weight alone, decides which build a machine can drive at full drum speed. Send your machine make, model and auxiliary flow figures and we will match the bucket to the circuit.
Can a screening bucket work underwater? The drive is sealed with a waterproof hydraulic motor, which suits wet and saturated material and shallow submerged work. For sustained fully submerged operation, talk to a specialist about the site first, because depth and duration change what should be specified, and we would rather confirm than assume.
Does a rotary screening bucket need greasing? No. The Aussie Buckets drive is grease-free for its lifetime. In wet, gritty screening work a grease point is the usual failure path, because it draws contamination into the bearing. Removing it removes the maintenance step and the failure that follows a missed one.
