Mechanical Grab

Hydraulic Grab
The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Hydraulic Grab & Auger
Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

What is a rock breaker? A rock breaker is an excavator attachment that drives a chisel into rock, concrete or asphalt using hydraulic oil from the machine combined with stored nitrogen pressure. It is also sold as a rockbreaker, hydraulic breaker or excavator hammer. Aussie Buckets rock breakers cover 1 to 65 tonne machines across fourteen sizes.
What size rock breaker fits a 1.7 tonne excavator? A 1.7 to 3.0 tonne breaker suits a 1.7 tonne excavator. It has a 45 mm chisel, weighs 155 kg, runs on 20 to 40 L/min at 90 to 120 bar and delivers 250 to 600 J per blow. Fourteen sizes cover 1 tonne to 65 tonne machines, so send your machine make, model and pin sizes and we will confirm the match.
What is a moil chisel and when should I use one? A moil is a pointed chisel that concentrates impact on a single point, making it the default for breaking rock and reinforced concrete. A wedge chisel spreads force along an edge and suits layered material. Both are supplied with every Aussie Buckets rock breaker, so the choice is made on site rather than at order.
Rock breaker or vibrating ripper: which do I need? A rock breaker fractures ground by impact and is the tool for concrete, reinforced structures and hard unbroken rock. A vibrating ripper fractures by high-frequency vibration through a single tooth, works faster in seamed ground and runs far quieter. Breaker for demolition and hard rock, ripper for bulk ripping on noise-restricted sites.
How often does a rock breaker chisel need changing? Chisel life depends on material and hours rather than a fixed interval. Replace when the working end has worn past its shoulder or mushroomed. Greasing the chisel at every shift start is the single biggest factor in how long it lasts, and it is the maintenance step most often skipped.
