Built for trench bases, pipe surrounds and confined ground, this excavator vibrating plate features an American Permco hydraulic motor, advanced vibration-dampening rubbers and a protective motor cradle, and ships with all hoses and pins.
Features
Superior design
Sealed with no grease points, so there is no daily servicing stop and nothing to miss on a wet job. Angled dampening rubbers cut the vibration reaching the machine and the operator.
Protected motor & hydraulics
The motor and hydraulics sit inside a protective cradle with spring-guarded hoses, so trench walls, rock and backfill hit the housing rather than the parts that run the plate.

Hydraulic Grab
The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Hydraulic Grab & Auger
Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

What is an excavator plate compactor? An excavator plate compactor is a hydraulic attachment that vibrates against the ground to compact soil, backfill and trench bases from the machine. It is also called a compaction plate, vibe plate, vibratory tamper or vibro plate. Aussie Buckets builds five sizes covering 2.5 to 38 tonne excavators.
What size compaction plate suits my excavator? Aussie Buckets builds five sizes covering 2.5 tonne to 38 tonne machines, from a 745 by 460 mm plate at 210 kg to 1,582 by 1,080 mm at 1,280 kg. What is the difference between an excavator plate and a walk-behind? An excavator-mounted plate compacts from the machine, which reaches trench bases, batters and confined ground a walk-behind cannot safely enter. It also removes the need for anyone to stand in an open trench to compact it, which is the reason most civil contractors move to one.
Does an excavator compaction plate need greasing? No. The Aussie Buckets design is sealed with no grease points, and the motor is cradle-mounted inside the housing with spring-guarded hoses. That removes the daily greasing stop and the wear that comes from missing one on a wet job.
Can a compaction plate work in a trench? Yes, trench work is what the high-frequency plate is built for. The cradle-mounted motor and guarded hose routing keep hydraulics away from the trench wall, and the plate reaches ground an operator should not stand on. Trench base and pipe surround compaction are its primary applications.
Compaction plate or compaction wheel: which do I need? A compaction plate vibrates a flat foot against the surface and is the tool for trench bases, pipe surrounds and finished formation. A compaction wheel rolls drums through backfill in lifts and covers ground faster on long trench runs. Plate for the base and the finish, wheel for bulk backfill volume.
