Also known as a rotary grading bucket, 360 grading bucket or rotating finishing bucket, the Rotating Grading Bucket comes in thirteen widths for 3–24T machines, so the bucket is matched to the machine, the material and the width of finish you need to leave.

Features

Rotating Grading Bucket - Continuous 360° rotation

Continuous 360° rotation

Smooth, unrestricted rotation through 360°, so batters, edges and obstacles are worked from one machine position. Motors carry inbuilt relief valves for carefree operation.

01
Rotating Grading Bucket - Reversible bolt-on edge

Reversible bolt-on edge

When one side of the cutting edge wears, the edge is turned to present a fresh working surface. Lower replacement cost, less downtime and consistent grading performance.

02
Rotating Grading Bucket - Low sidewall design

Low sidewall design

Low side walls stop material building up and blocking, so soil, gravel and sand spread to the full width in fewer passes. Lighter, wider and shallower, it handles easily in tight spaces.

03
Rotating Grading Bucket - Two hoses, no case drain

Two hoses, no case drain

The rotation runs on two hydraulic hoses with no case drain line, so installation is straightforward on any excavator with a spare auxiliary circuit.

Built to fit the machine you run

Nothing here is an off-the-shelf pattern that you have to make work. Every unit is manufactured to your machine's tonnage, hitch and pin centres, so it bolts up to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Volvo, CASE, Kubota, Yanmar and Takeuchi alike. Send us the make, model and pin sizes and we match the bracket before it ships - if your machine isn't on this list, it still fits.

Rock Breaker & Mud Sieve Buckets

After receiving our first order which had a rock breaker and some mud sieve buckets we knew we'd come back for more, just placed the 3rd order, great service and advice from the sales team, the quality and finish of the attachments are better than I can get locally and a better price.

Hydraulic Grab & Auger

Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

Hydraulic Grab

The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Frequently asked questions

What is a rotating grading bucket used for? A rotating grading bucket is built for precision grading, levelling and finishing, with continuous 360° hydraulic rotation. The wide, shallow profile spreads soil, gravel and sand evenly across the cutting edge, and the rotation lets the operator shape batters, finish edges and work around obstacles without repositioning the excavator. It suits civil, landscaping, roadworks and general earthmoving.
What size excavator do I need for a rotating grading bucket? The range covers 3 to 24 tonne excavators across thirteen builds, from a 900 mm bucket at 180 kg for 3 to 4 tonne machines up to an 1,800 mm bucket at 1,020 kg for 20 to 24 tonne machines. Get a tailored quote and we'll match the width and hydraulic specification to your machine.
What hydraulics does a rotating grading bucket need? Two hydraulic hoses on a spare auxiliary circuit, with no case drain line. Builds for 3 to 11 tonne machines run on 30 to 60 L/min at 160 bar, 12 to 18 tonne builds on 60 to 80 L/min at 180 bar, and 20 to 24 tonne builds on 70 to 80 L/min at 180 bar. The motors carry inbuilt relief valves, so the rotation is protected against pressure spikes.
Rotating grading bucket vs. tilting bucket: what's the difference? A tilting bucket tilts 45 degrees each way for battering slopes, but the bucket stays square to the machine. A rotating grading bucket turns continuously through 360 degrees, so the cutting edge can be set to any angle without tracking the machine round. Slope work takes the tilting bucket; finishing edges, working around obstacles and grading at an angle take the rotating grading bucket.
How does the reversible bolt-on edge work? The cutting edge is bolted on rather than welded. When one side wears, the edge is unbolted, turned to present a fresh working surface and bolted back on, which doubles the service life of each edge and keeps replacement to a job done on site rather than in a workshop. It is available as an option on every build.
How much does a rotating grading bucket cost? Aussie Buckets rotating grading buckets start at $4,025. Price moves with width and machine class, from the 900 mm build for 3 to 4 tonne machines up to the 1,800 mm build for 20 to 24 tonne machines, and 0% finance is available on approved purchases. Every bucket is protected by a 5-year warranty. Get a tailored quote against your machine.
