Built for finish grading pads, access tracks and formations, this excavator grader blade features a reinforced reversible bolt-on cutting edge, heavy-duty gussets and protective external plating, with a free spare cutting edge supplied.

Features

Grader Blade - Reversible bolt-on edge

Reversible bolt-on edge

The cutting edge bolts on and turns over, giving a second working face before it is replaced. On grading work the edge wears first by a long way, so it is renewable rather than the blade.

01
Grader Blade - Reinforced head bracket with gussets

Reinforced head bracket with gussets

A grader blade is pushed, not pulled. Gussets around the hitch take that push load through the bracket rather than the welds, so the mount lasts as long as the blade.

02
Grader Blade - External plating

External plating

Wear plating on the outside faces takes the contact with gravel and road base, protecting the main chassis. The plating wears, the frame does not.

Built to fit the machine you run

Nothing here is an off-the-shelf pattern that you have to make work. Every unit is manufactured to your machine's tonnage, hitch and pin centres, so it bolts up to Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Volvo, CASE, Kubota, Yanmar and Takeuchi alike. Send us the make, model and pin sizes and we match the bracket before it ships - if your machine isn't on this list, it still fits.

Hydraulic Grab

The hydraulic grab is better than any Christmas pressi. I use it on my farm dealing with trees and firewood. Also pipe laying. Try lifting 450 dia 12m long HDPE pipe and the grab fits perfect. OK the little Kubota knows it got a big fish on the hook but I can do what I can't do otherwise. Great choice - by me, great product thanks to you.

Hydraulic Grab & Auger

Great company to deal with. Excellent quality hydraulic grab attachment. The company was so nice to deal with I placed another order for a different attachment. Also kept me updated on my order from start to finish. Received my new auger and it is an amazing piece of kit coupled with a 350mm auger and I got the 1m extension also. Had a bit of time to test everything out and the grab is great for moving posts rocks and anything else to save my back. The auger has plenty of torque and because I'm in a bit of rocky ground I got the combination auger and it's busting through it quite well. Still very happy with my order and Aussie Buckets support and after sale check in just to see how everything is going.

Frequently asked questions

What is an excavator grader blade used for? Levelling and finish grading pads, access tracks, driveways and site formations from an excavator. It works across the full blade width instead of in bucket-width strips, which is what reduces the number of passes. Aussie Buckets grader blades cover 1.2 to 30 tonne machines across seven builds.
What is the difference between a grader blade and a spreader bar? A spreader bar is the simpler tool for spreading loose gravel, road base and topsoil to grade. A grader blade is heavier, with a reversible bolt-on edge and a gusseted bracket built for push loads, and holds a line on firmer surfaces. Loose material takes the bar, a formation takes the blade.
Can you reverse the cutting edge on a grader blade? Yes. The edge bolts on and reverses, giving a second working face before it is replaced. On grading work the edge is what wears first by a long way, so making it renewable and reversible is what keeps the blade in service rather than the wear deciding its life. A spare edge ships with every blade.
What size grader blade fits my excavator? Seven builds span 1.2 to 30 tonne machines in widths from 1,000 to 2,600 mm, with weight, height and hook range listed per build. Send your machine make, model, hitch and pin sizes and we will match the build and confirm fitment before manufacture starts. Every build carries a 5-year warranty.
Grader blade or tiltrotator grader blade: which do I need? The Grader Blade pins straight onto a standard excavator hitch. The Tiltrotator Grader Blade is built to mount on a tiltrotator for machines running Engcon, Rototilt or Steelwrist systems, where the tilt and rotate come from the tiltrotator rather than the blade. The mounting on your machine decides it.
How much does an excavator grader blade cost? Aussie Buckets grader blades start at $1,875. Price moves with width, machine class and edge specification, and 0% finance is available on approved purchases. Every blade is protected by a 5-year warranty and lifetime technical support.
